This week we're making a portable solar powered USB charger with an LED flashlight. This episode shows how to modify a $10.00 solar path light into an Altoids tin that can then be used as a flashlight or fully charge your iPod, cell phone, or other USB device.
With this project the thing that makes it really useful is that you can leave the device in the sun, without anything hooked upped to it, then bring it anywhere with you to charge your USB devices, because it's hooked up to the four AAs not the USB port directly.
From a couple of tests, we found that when the AAs were completely charge the device gave over a full charge to an 2nd gen. iPod nano.

I want to know if you can make a map of your soldering on the two switches because I'm having trouble understanding the soldering on them...
Thank you
Nice video but I'm still new to this soldering
P.S. My soldering iron isn't very good
